NEW RAILWAY HISTORY EXHIBITION FROM JULY 13!
In 2025, we celebrate 200 years of rail transport. To mark this anniversary, the Hungarian Railway Museum, in cooperation with the Hungarian Museum of Technology and Transport, is opening a special temporary exhibition.

INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES IN THE MUSEUM
TURNTABLE RIDE
The turntable was originally used for moving locomotives from one track to another and for reversing them.
HANDCAR RIDE
Besides the open-air exhibition of handcars in our park, visitors can try out these historical, hand-powered vehicles.
MOTORISED HANDCAR RIDE
Experience a ride on the newly refurbished track inspection car! The vehicle is powered by an original Pannónia motorcycle engine.
GARDEN RAILWAY
The miniature railway in the museum has been in operation since August 2006 and has a track length of 870 metres.

WE ARE OPEN!
Please note that the Park is currently not accessible in its full area due to the dismantling works following Planet Budapest. Therefore, the Park offers discounted entrance tickets while these works are in progress.
The garden railway, the turntable, the new obstacle course, the playground, the model house, and the Park’s other attractions remain open and available for visitors.
