175th anniversary of the Hungarian Railways
Themed weekend with Vehicle Parade in Hungarian Railway Museum
On 17-18 July 2021 the Hungarian Railways will celebrate its 175th anniversary at the Hungarian Railway Museum with many interesting and unique sights. The Vehicle Parade - in addition to the permanent exhibitions - will also feature a number of hungarian and foreign guest vehicle specialities, which will also make it an exciting look into the past of the Hungarian and European railways.
Among other things, the Tram-train will be on display on both days, as well as seven NOHAB locomotives and a rump Ikarus bus from The VOLÁN bus company during the railway vehicle show. The unique and peculiar vehicles can be viewed from 11:00 to 14:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors can also take part in a special train journey called the 'NOHAB Star Tour' organized by MÁV Rail Tours. https://www.mavrailtours.hu/hu/programs/show/81
